WHITE THIN GLOWIRE IS CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK.
Thin Glowire is approximately 1.5mm in diameter. Very little protection so use carefully. Great for applications where weight is an issue. Price is per foot. The initial shopping page will only allow you to select up to 30' of Glowire however you can purchase longer lengths by ordering multiple times. For instance if you want to order 50' of one color just order 30' and then 20' of the same color.

I used the thin aqua EL wire to follow an intricate pattern on a fez. I have a controller that can change frequency and the aqua shifts rather well between blue and green. I really like that the wire comes prestripped.
BTW I used Aleene's Fabric Fusion to attach the wire. It seems to bond well to both the fabric and wire.

I like it because it's easy to work with, and it's priced right plus the accessories work well with my projects

Our model railroad club is redoing a section of our layout that is a fairground. We are adding new midway buildings and rides. The Glowire is being used to simulate neon/flourescent lighting on the structures. It's working great. Needed a little time to learn how to manipulate the wire without damaging it but things are looking great. Pictures to come.

I use Glowire in a product I produce and it is fantastic. It produces the lighting effects I require and it's flexibility allows me the freedom to produce my designs. The only issue I've had is with the wire coating comes off when trying to strip the plastic insulation also braking the two fine wires. This has caused lost of product because the Glowire cannot be wired thus no lights. It's as if the coating is adhered to the plastic rather than the copper wire. In most cases the plastic coating comes right off and the coating is difficult to scrape from the copper.
