In order for your GLOWIRE to glow, you must use a driver.  The driver takes a DC input voltage and provides an AC output voltage of approximately 120 volts.

The type of driver you need for your project depends on several things:
            - the amount of GLOWIRE you need to run
            - the input voltage (3 volt, 9 volt, 12 volt)
            - the brightness you desire

Our drivers are listed in the chart below to help you find out which one best suits your needs.  The higher the frequency, the brighter the wire and the lower the frequency, the less bright.  Although GLOWIRE never burns out, it will become dimmer over time and this is affected by the frequency of the driver.  Typical useful lifetime is as follows:  (6 hours on, 18 hours off - reaching 30% of initial brightness)

Note:  All drivers make a slight humming sound.  This is the audible sound of the frequency and is normal.
